Yes, all networked BrightSign models support synchronization over Ethernet using BrightAuthor. You can synchronize up to 255 units on a local subnet (and up to double that number if you can bridge two subnets). Synchronized presentations are created in BrightAuthor with an Interactive playlist.
Watch the following videos to learn more about synchronization:
You can only synchronize BrightSign players that belong to the same model family: For example, you can synchronize an HD222 player with an HD1022 player, but you cannot synchronize an HD222 player with an XD232 player.
Keep the following points in mind when using synchronization:
- Synchronization is not supported over Wireless.
- You cannot use the Synchronize command and the Pause Video command at the same time.
- We recommend using the latest production BrightAuthor and firmware versions available from the Downloads page.
- When using players with different firmware versions (not recommended), make sure the Master has the same or older firmware version as the slave players.
