I am authoring a presentation that has a live view window fed by a laptop running laboratory software. The live view window is a 16 x 9 aspect ratio, and the laptop successfully outputs 16 x 9 to fill the window most of the time.
Depending on the which device boots first, either the XT1134 or the laptop, sometimes the Live View window will display the laptop screen with black pillars on either side of the frame.
Is there a way to force a resolution to fill the 16 x 9 window reliably without the pillars? Since this is a trade show application, there is no certain way to ensure that the laptop will boot before the player or vice versa.
