    That's just HTML *code*, not a full HTML page.
    The player browser needs to load a fly-defined HTML page with enclosing tag, section, etc.

    Did not publish HTML Headers code and etc... If you look at the preview screen shot you will see that it is a full HTML page.

     Here is the complete HTML:

    <!doctype html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>w2</title>
    <meta name="generator" content="WYSIWYG Web Builder 12 - http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com">
    <link href="Untitled2.css" rel="stylesheet">
    <link href="Windex2.css" rel="stylesheet">
    </head>
    <body scroll="no">
    <div id="Html1" style="position:absolute;left:0px;top:0px;width:777px;height:153px;overflow:hidden;z-index:0">
    <div id="cont_0c329cc34cdca3fd7feb4878b87af8ea"><script async src="https://www.yourweather.co.uk/wid_loader/0c329cc34cdca3fd7feb4878b87af8ea"></script></div></div>
    </body>
    </html>

     Device: HD223 Standard I/O Player
    "Full HD single video decoding, mainstream HTML5 performance and simultaneous playback from local, networked and streaming sources. "

    My question is: why it appears on the preview and not when i publish???

    There are a number of reasons why things can work in the preview and not on the player.  Long story short, the preview uses an entirely different browser engine and is an entirely different environment.

    The Community forum is aimed at interacting with other customers.

    To get support directly from BrightSign, opening a support ticket is the best way.

    Brandon,

    What is the model of your palyer???? Can you take a screen shot to prove it? Is a firmware issue?

    Your response dosen't solve my problem or any other one from people here in the community that is having the same problem.

     Any other members of the community manage to solve this issue???

    Brandon was going to followup on Monday when support's available again, but since you wanted some proof.. This is a screenshot from my brightauthor, showing snapshots take by the player of playback. You can see the weather in the bottom left of the screen.  YOu can see my player info in the top right... All I did was paste your code into a text file and save it as html. I then put the html file into an empty folder so you it would copy any other files with it when it was published, and I added it as an html widget in my brightauthor project.

    as far as why it's not working, you can try to retrieve some info from the player itself. Go to the log tab of a player, and see if there are any errors there.

    Under html sites tab in brightauthor properties, enable the javascript console, republish, and then log into the player at port 2999. THere under the console tab you may see additional errors explaining why the page's not working.

    But, this works fro me as well.

    Ok, waited 1 week for any help here, but is clear that if you dont use the model HD1023 like Lyndon it wont work. Will start the process of returning the 8 devices "HD233" that was installed because it doesn't do what it say it does. I proved in the post above that all the configuration recomended by Brightsing to make it work fails.

    THE MODEL HD233 DOSEN'T DISPLAY HTML PAGES.

    Could you provide a link to an export of your BrightAuthor project?

    If you don't wish to post it here, you could email info@brightscripters.com

    I can safely say from personal experience, that BrightSign players present HTML pages.

    There has to be a simple explanation, why your page is not showing.

    my colleague Brandon suggested you submit a ticket for more direct help.  But, I saved your html into a text file and just published it to my LS423, the entry level model below your HD223 player.. Here's the remote snapshot viewed from brightauthor for that publish. I exported my project, which includes the project file, 1 video, and a test folder which has the html file. This is working on two players I've tested so far, and on Brandon's player.  Please try my project file, exported from ba 4.6.0.35. I've tested on both 6.2.147 and 6.2.94.

    Works on my XD. Please see screenshot.

    If HTML is not showing, something might be blocked, which could be revealed with the Javascript console.

    Chris,

    From what you are showing, DNS, and Default Gateway pass the test, but can you try and ping or traceroute hosts on the internet from the diagnostics player's page?

    In particular try yourweather.co.uk

    Also, can you show other HTML on the player? Pages like http://google.com...

    Ok, finally got it to work. The ping, trace, network tools all of them show no error, even external ip was ok. Those induce to a false result. The firewall was blocking the incoming html data. It would send the request but it would block the incoming data. Thank you all for your help and support may this post help other users that may have the same issue.

    The player can't access your computer's drive.
    Either publish it as Local Files or put them on a HTTP web server.

    Does it work from your computer's browser?
    Make sure it is a proper, full HTML page, not just a code snippet.
    Enable External data usually needs to be enabled in the HTML state.

    Export your presentation and submit a support ticket with a download link to your export and we can investigate further.

    Chris Hanns or anyone else still needing weather for any networked BrightSign players with Internet access, I do provide weather in Media RSS feeds. The majority of my clients are on BrightSign Players, including older units like the HD210/1010 models.

    I can do any location worldwide, and any zone size, custom backgrounds, etc. for $60 USD per player per year.

    I can set up a test feed for you if you like. Just let me know.

    It can't resolve the hostname "server" - it's probably a placeholderthat's supposed to be replaced.
