Using Interactive Presentation help

I am new with using brightsign. I have a HD1010 and is running the latest firmware (not beta). I am using a Elo touchscren as my display. I am making a traveling kiosk that will go around the country showing the parts of the Mississippi River and my supervisor was suggested brightsign. I want to use the Elo touchscreen and make it so people can touch the screen and go to different parts videos and pics. Now here's my question, I am reading the User Guide and it tells me how to make my Elo interact with the brightsign by using this format (x:y:width:height) I understand what it is saying to do, use the coordinates to make the "button" so the brightsign reacts to it, but how do u find the exact coordinates you are looking for? like if I wanna make a "buton" in the middle of the screen. how do I find those coordinates? any help would be great. and I am sorry if this doesn't really make any sense, I'm not to good at explaining my work or train of thought.

    Many editing programs will provide coordinates when viewing a image I nomally take an image that's the same size as the output resolution I am using, and open it in MS paint. Paint always shows you the coordinates of the of the cursor.

    I do have one more question.   I have downloaded all the demos and am trying to find the "interactive presentation" AUTOPLAY.CVS but can not seem to find it.  The user guide says it is in the demo.  If you could please send me the link to the correct demo or file I would appreciate it.

    You are correct. I don't see it. I don't know when it was removed, but I'm having it added back. I'm sending you the csv example.

    and yet again I have a question.  I have been playing around with  my Brightsign HD1010 and my elo touch.   I have figured out how to use the interactive presentation, but my problem is I do not know how to get the exact coordinates for the icons I have on my screen.  Throught the presentation, the user will have the choice to either go back, go forward and go to the main screen.  I have been messing around with this for a good day and I don't have the time.  Any easy way for me to figure it out?

    but if anyone can tell me how I can play a exe. file in brightsign, then all my problems would be solved.  I have a file created in Adobe Director and it is an executable file.   is it possible to play in brightsign?  I can't get it to work  it is flash

    You can't play a .exe on the unit.



    For your coordinates, you can open any image in MS Paint, for example, and paint tells you the location of the pointer at all times so you could use it to find the coordinates of your buttons.



    The same is true of many image editing programs. They allow you to select an area, and the software tells you the x,y coordinates and the size of the space.

    ive done that, but it is still off form the pic.  im just messing with a couple files to figure it out.  I have the VIDEOMODE set at   640x480x60p cause i get an error other wise. and my videos and pics im using are at that resolution.  would this be my problem?  cause i kno the User Manual says it reads the coordinates based off a 1024x768x60p.  what can i do?

    On the compact, the 1024 resolution setting would be 1024x768x75p. What resolutions have been giving you errors? How off are the coordinates?



    If you update your unit to 3.1.73 firmware now posted on the support site, you can also download the touch calibration script and calibrate the unit to your screen to verify that's not the source of the problem.

    Can I email you my files and see if you can give it a shot? folder is 27 megs.  It is just a sample I am working on to learn it.  I would greatly appreciate you trying because I have been going through the forum and trying all sorts of things, but I can't figure it out.  the standard 1024x768x60p and the 1024x768x75p have been problems.
