HD410 Interactive Playlist question

I am new to the brightsign and require some help creating an interactive playlist to perform some simple playback control of our HD410. Let me explain what we are attempting to do and hopefully someone will have an answer.

We are connecting out brightsign HD-410 to a 46" monitor and a motion sensor. We would like to have the HD410 playing an attract loop at all times until someone triggers the motion sensor when they enter the space. Once the motion sensor is triggered, then a second video file will play until it is over (with the motion sensor locked out so no one will re-trigger the start of the show.) Once the video file is done it would return to the attract loop and wait to be re-triggered again by the motion sensor.

Can someone help me make this happen? Thanks in advance.

I sent an email with one way to do this, including an interactive playlist. It plays attact.mpg until a sensor trips, and then it plays motion.mpg, and ignores input until the video is done.

    Dear RoKuLyndon

I just read that you helped this guy with a playlist problem, I have just purchased 5 HD410 and have a task that is almost identical.

Is it possible to get you to send this interactive playlist to me, that would be absolutly fantastic.

    Best Regards

    Peer K.

I'm sending an email, but this is what it looks like. If you copied and pasted this text into a text file named, autoplay.csv, it should work. But, I've sending you the csv file separately. This assumes your sensor is wired to button zero, which is pin 15.

If you need any help with the PIR sensor or need some adapters or boards that already have terminal blocks to make your wiring simpler, check out the Brightsign Page on the HMS Electronics website.

I'm sure I've tried everything I can think of. Perhaps another pair of eyes can help me out.

I know the vids work, had them in a simple playlist.

    here's my autoplay.csv

    GPIOENABLEINPUT,0

    EVENTS,,button:0,videoend

    STATE,chinasm.mpg,chinasm.mpg

    STATE,bilsm.mpg,,chinasm.mpg

I emailed you a csv to try:

    GPIOENABLEINPUT,0,,

    EVENTS,,button:0,videoend

    STATE,chinasm.mpg,bilsm.mpg,

    STATE,bilsm.mpg,,chinasm.mpg

I assume chinasm plays first, and then bilsm with a button press.

Greetings Gentlemen, My setup is similar but with a twist.  I have 3 HD 410 players  hooked up to 3 monitors with one motion sensor and one push button.  This is the plan, have an synced  attract video playing all the time until the motion sensor trips, closing I/O 1 which starts an audio (mp3) while attract video is still active and keeps it  for the duration of the mp3 (locks out sensor input).
A: If button (I/O 2) is pushed audio stops, attract video stops and plays main presentation.  Inputs from the sensor and button are locked out for the duration of the main movie, still synced.
B: If button is not pushed, then audio plays once then default to attract video.  I am currently using the Bright Author software.  Any assistance will be appreciated.

Is the audio playing on all units with the motion is tripped? Does the attract have audio? If it doesn, where is the audio from the mp3 being played out of .

Hi, the audio is playing out of one unit in the string A, B, C.
A: attract video  > motion sensor trips >mp3 audio plays on A only ,attract video continue to play on all,
    B: attract video
    C: attract video

    Button is pushed

All stops playing attract video, audio stops and all plays video in sync.

I am attempting a variation of previous posts, let me know if this scenario is possible (HD410):

    A looping attract video.
When triggered with trigger 1, play a random video from playlist 1.
After video from playlist 1 finishes, proceed to Loop Attract video 2.
When triggered with trigger 2, play a random video from playlist 2.
After video from playlist 2 finishes, Return to the original attract video.

note that videos do not have to be random but can play in order, provided the playlist loops back to the start of the list.

Hi guys i needed pir to trigger HD410 playing an attract loop at all times until someone triggers the motion sensor when they enter the space found one that has smart connector for really easy install works great and works on brightsign power so no long wires  to mains plug in power pack etc. if you need one i can pass it on to you.
