HD1010 serial command for NEC monitor input soutce

I wonder if anyone has used a Brightsign unit to make a NEC display change source input? I have 12 synchronized displays of various sizes that all but one show still images. The last display is connected to a computer. At one point in the show, every display turns black and then they start showing the same movie, including the display connected to the computer. So I need the HD1010 to send out a serial command over RS232 or LAN to switch video input source to HDMI, and back to DVI once the movie's played through. I find the NEC external control manual too complex so if anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it. *EDIT* I've worked it out, here's the solution for anyone interested. The HEX string calculated according to the manual needs to be converted to DEC and each DEC value (19 per string/command) sent as "Serial-send byte" in BrightAuthor. The fastest way I'd say is to add one "Serial-send byte" row, publish the presentation and then edit the autoplay xml files in a text editor. Copy the following to 19 instances and change the "parameters" values according to the DEC string: <brightSignCommand> <command>sendSerialByteCommand</command> <parameters>1</parameters> </brightSignCommand> Here's a list of HEX and the corresponding DEC string values for changing input source and activating/deactivating the video wall function. The commands apply to NEC monitors V321, V421, V461 (might work for other NEC's too). Glad you found an answer.

With brightauthor 2.2, which we'll be posting soon, there's a serialsendbytes command so you can add multiple bytes separated by commands.

Sending IR remote message, what should I enter as hex value as I'm not getting what to enter and from where I get those value.  I have an external IR blaster (3.5mm) Jack with the remote which I want to configure with BrightSign XT1143 and control my presentation or switch the presentation with the remote.
