autoplay.csv does not work - why?



Hi,
We are in the process of possibly buying 300 Brightsigns, but they appear to have some major bugs when trying to use autoplay.csv. I would prefer a phone call to discuss this, but maybe you can answer some questions here. My time frame is extremely short (days) and I have tried calling, but apparently you have no phone support. I'm not really sure this product is ready to take a chance on, but here is my question anyway.

I started with your demo. It works OK, other than the touchscreen positions being inverted. I don't care about that. I just need to create a csv file that will play a video and when it ends, show a few pictures for a couple seconds each and then play another movie, a few more pictures and then start over again. The csv layout you describe in the manual is very easy to understand and I'm nearly positive I am constructing it correctly, yet I can get it to play back anything. Just a black screen.

Can you give me a clue why this would not work. At the very least, you would expect it to display the demo_menu.bmp at startup. I have not removed any of the contenbt from the demo. I'm simply modifying the csv file.

    24 views and no reply to this? Is this really a support forum? Sorry to sound like a jerk, but how can I recommend my company buy hundreds of this product when there is no way to get quick support and the product has obvious bugs.



    Anyone from support ever read these posts???

    As far as the csv file, you don't have anything incorrectly. I have an updated autoplay script with your csv file that will fix the problem. I forwarded it to your email address.
