Preview in BrightAuthor

I really miss one thing about BrightAuthor and that is a preview function, how my design will look on the screen before I upload it. Since its not myself that is going to do frequent updates I need the software to be as pedagogical a possible, a preview function would solve that for my staff. If Scalas SignChannel service would be available in Europe I think i would gone for that, so my question is; Have you planned for this function? If so, when is it going to be released? Otherwise I love you products! Best regards, David

  We are looking into a preview function, but it's not currently available. Are you just playing images or videos as well? We really recommend having a test unit present, especially if you're using video content. Just because videos play on your computer, doesn't mean they'll play the same on the brighsign especially if someone is using an unsurpported codec on their computer.
  
  We recommend having a networked unit that you can publish content to for testing before you roll that out to units in the field.

  There is no software preview within BrightAuthor. You would need a BrightSign player to preview your presentation.

  If you are distributing content over the network, we recommend getting a demo unit you can use for testing before pushing the content out to the player.

  This seems to be a rather stupid answer to a BIG problem a lot of us have me included...... My company is very small with limited resources, & now you're saying instead of Brightsign adding the preview into the software we have to get another unit????????
