BrightAuthor / Feature Request

Hello,

I was wondering if it might be possible to include a feature in BA that allows you to see a larger view of an image in the Media Library on the left pane.  The thumbnails are often too small to see the text and I find myself having to open Windows Explorer to use its preview function.  I'd like to be able to right-click or mouse over a slide and get an enlarged view of it.

Thanks.

We do have a request in to address this so you can see the whole file name.

The whole file name would be quite helpful, but I was hoping for a larger representation of the image itself.  Both would be very useful.

Is there a feature request thread?  How about Drag and Drop in BrightAuthor!

I'd like to add my vote to being able to see a preview of a slide at a bigger size than just the thumbnail on the side. Not all of the slides we produce are completely different, so at thumbnail level it's almost impossible to tell which one is which. Right click "preview" would be great.

@Briian, you can drag and drop from Windows Explorer into BrightAuthor.

@Sharon, using the larger preview thumbnail in Windows Explorer and dropping them into BrightAuthor from there may be easier to manage.

Hi Brandon, yes that's what I currently do, but it would be good to see what I am working with without leaving the program and having to locate the files outside of BrightAuthor. I am not the only one that creates and puts up content on our system, so a quick preview window of the slides would be a big timesaver.
