IP streaming out of a XD unit

How do you stream out of the XD like they talk about in the new software update.  can the XD1230 IP Stream out the live video stream that is coming into it?

  Hope fully it will be out in version 3.8

   

  Hoop dat het kan rekenen op in versie 3.8 zijn

  Included here is a plugin that lets you stream from the xd to another xd to another client. See the readme for the commonds that are supported.

  this will also go from XD to HD right?

  Yes, it will stream to an HD player.

  Where should I store the clip.ts (or other video files) ?

  On the the root directory of the SD card ?

  Yes, in the root. I believe the latest version of that script will also let you use the files tab under presentation properties to publish files, so that you it will play content from the pool folder as well given just the name of the file.
