BrightWall Seamless Loop?

HW: XD230  |  FW: 4.7.146 Beta  |  SW: BrightAuthor 3.8.0.27 Beta

I'm trying to build a 4x1 video wall. Nothing fancy, just a 30-second loop. I built one large video, then cut it into segments for each screen.

The BrightWall builder is very easy to use, but I have had no luck getting a seamless loop.

I have tried the videos as MP4 and MOV, but the playback still pauses every 30 seconds.

This is especially frustrating because I know the videos work individually. If I create standalone presentations for each screen, they loop flawlessly (single video, no video end event, as described here: http://support.brightsign.biz/entries/170032-How-do-I-loop-a-single-video-seamlessly-).

I have elements in the animation travelling between screens, so they need to be in sync. BrightWall should be the perfect solution, but it's not. If I can't get a seamless loop on a BrightWall, this product is essentially useless to me.

How do I get a seamless loop on a BrightWall?

As a follow-up to this post:

I have still had no luck getting a seamless loop with BrightWall.

I have, however, been able to almost achieve the desired effect by creating four separate presentations, and four separate schedules with identical start times, which are then published separately to each individual XD230.

The videos start simultaneously on each screen, and loop seamlessly.

The drawbacks to this approach, besides being more complicated than the very simple BrightWall creation, are that: A) I can't start the video wall immediately, as the schedule functions in 30-minute increments, and B) when setting a start time for the presentation, an end time must also be defined.

I can work around the need for an end time by creating two events in the schedule (see attached image), so that the presentation will start running again immediately after ending. However, I am concerned that there will be a noticeable pause or black screen when the schedule progresses from one scheduled start time to the next, which would be twice per day (midnight, and the original start time).

Can you post the Master presentation for a quick review?

Yes, there will be a brief pause when switching between the projects in schedule.

You can double click on a schedule and specify the timeframes accurate to the minutes using a mouse and keyboard. For example, you can set the end time to 9:26 AM.

A recent firmware update fixed the issue.
