I want to change the player name on my LS424 from "activated" to "Loop 2".
How do I do this?

Monica Knutson Outside of publishing new setup files... how do you have your player currently configured?
- Connected
- BrightSign Network
- Local File Network
- Simple File Network
- Standalone
Is it currently attached to the network your PC is running on?
Cheers,

David Norbot It's on a local network. This is how it shows up on my Dashboard:

Nathan Garton I have the same issue. did this get resolved?

Marous Brothers I have the same issue... Please advise

David Norbot I had to re-flash the units in the Dashboard. Basically I set up everything first under the Admin tab. I created a setup for each individual brightsign, naming it to our conventions. Then provisioned each brightsign unit with the provision of their name.
There's no EASY way to do it. -
Nathan Garton yes that works... i got this from support.
- Create a Device Setup in Admin>Device Setup Library with the desired name.
2. Apply Setup on the player's Device Provisioning record in Admin>Device Provisioning to the new Setup.
3. Access the player's remote DWS by clicking the gear icon on its entry in the Network section then start the Reprovision process in the Control section
-OR-
clear the player's storage and factory reset it
4. Republish your content schedule.
- Create a Device Setup in Admin>Device Setup Library with the desired name.

Marous Brothers Thank you for all the help!
I am about to deploy 30 of the XD234's and it was getting confusing trying to keep up with the serial numbers and where they were physically located for my design team.

Nathan Garton We are having the same issues, pushing out a 70+ reinstall. Good luck with the deployment.
